What can I expect to receive before my scheduled course?

How do I cancel out of an SPSS training course?

If you need to cancel out of an SPSS training course, please contact our Customer Service Department by email at spsscs@us.ibm.com. or by phone at 800/543-2185 option 2. Registrants who cancel between 6 - 10 business days prior to the first day of the course are subject to a charge of 50% of the standard course fee. Registrants who cancel 5 business days or less prior to the first day of the course date are subject to a service charge of 100% of the standard course fee.

What is the cancellation policy for training subscription service attendees?

If you cannot attend your scheduled course, registrants are required to cancel at least 10 business days prior to the first day of the course. Registrants who cancel less than 10 business days prior to a course date are subject to a service charge equal to 50% of the standard course fee. You can cancel out of a class by contacting SPSS Customer Service by phone at 1.800.543.5815, option #2 or by email at spsscs@us.ibm.com.

What is the SPSS course cancellation policy?

While every attempt is made to provide classes as scheduled, occasionally it becomes necessary to cancel a scheduled class. All scheduled courses are subject to cancellation. SPSS reserves the right to cancel a course up to 5 business days prior to the first day of the course. All dates and locations are subject to change. SPSS is NOT liable for any customer expenses incurred prior to cancelled courses.

Will there be hands-on sessions?

Yes, the majority of courses offer hands-on sessions. When needed, you will be provided with a PC in order to participate in hands-on. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to bring a laptop that is already loaded with the appropriate software.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code, just dress comfortably. Given fluctuations in air conditioning temperatures, you may want to bring a sweater or jacket.

May I pre-register for training classes without immediate payment?

SPSS does not allow pre-registrations for classes. All classes must be secured at the time of registration with the proper payment. Each confirmed registrant is designated an attendee at the time of registration and is assigned resources until proper cancellation is provided.
